This accessibility statement concerns the service www.laina.fi (short: laina.fi), and it was created on 27.06.2025. The Laina.fi service is managed by Sortter Oy (2954352-7). The Laina.fi service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires that online services must be accessible to different users.

Laina.fi has evaluated the accessibility of its digital service itself with different tools, made the necessary accessibility changes to its site, and prepared a plan for future changes.

Regarding unresolved accessibility issues

Laina.fi is committed to providing as accessible and usable a digital service as possible for all persons. We continuously develop accessibility and actively monitor its quality. We receive feedback on accessibility via email, web form and customer service phone.

We aim for full WCAG 2.2 AA level accessibility by the end of 2025.

Service-specific additional requirements

Laina.fi operates in cooperation with the Sortter.fi service and uses the same core parts of the service.

The service at laina.fi mostly fulfils the service-specific additional requirements defined by law. The service is compatible with the most common assistive technologies and can be used with a keyboard. The user interface adapts to different devices and is responsive. Colour and contrast requirements have been taken into account, and the structure and heading structures of the service support clear navigation. In some external services (e.g. embedded widgets) there may be accessibility deficiencies, which are described in the attached accessibility statement.

General description of the digital service

Laina.fi is a loan comparison platform operating in Finland, managed by Sortter Oy. For the consumer customer, the service appears as a loan application form starting from the laina.fi address, and by filling it in, the customer receives a credit decision from the lenders cooperating with the site and, in case of an approved decision, a preliminary loan offer.

The loan offers received by the consumer customer are presented to the consumer customer at sortter.fi, and they show key information such as:

  • Lender
  • Offered loan amount
  • Offered loan period
  • Annual interest rate of the loan
  • Opening or handling fees of the loan
  • Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of the loan
  • Total amount of the loan and credit costs as well as instalments

The consumer customer may choose the desired offer from the loan offers received. After this, the lender takes care on its side of customer identification and verification, checking and taking securities related to the loan, opening the customer relationship, and money transfers. Naturally, the consumer customer may also choose not to accept an offer received through the service.a.

Information about the functioning of the digital service


Laina.fi is a digital service operating at laina.fi. The service is available on devices that enable an internet connection, and the service requires an active internet connection to function.

The input of loan application form data can also be carried out by contacting Laina.fi’s customer service (managed by Sortter Oy) or by submitting a contact request on our website.

The actual loan agreement, however, is signed outside the environment of laina.fi and the Sortter service, in the service of the selected lender. Signing of the loan usually requires strong identification of the user. Regarding the availability of an alternative identification and signing method, the user must contact the lender after selecting the offer. Laina.fi or Sortter Oy does not itself grant loans and does not manage the signing service of the selected loan.

If you notice accessibility problems on the site, first give feedback to us, i.e. the site administrator. It may take 14 days to receive a response. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive or do not receive a response at all within two weeks, you can make a notification to Traficom.
